WWE is expanding to new television options as Triple H has announced that the company is set to have a new show coming to FS1.
The Game would appear on FS1’s “First Things First” and discuss the company’s new partnership with Fox Sports (which includes the massive deal WWE signed making Fox the new home for SmackDown Live as of Oct. 4. 2019.
During his appearance, he would break the news of the new FS1 show.
“This is something I’ve wanted to happen for a long time. I think this is the perfect opportunity for it. A studio show, for us, it kind of, because of the sports entertainment aspect of it, it’s an endless show where you’re talking about the athletic component of it, it’s also an entertainment… where you’re talking about where things are going, the storylines and the characters all of it. This is going to be one of those shows, that if you’re a WWE fan, across the board, this is the show that will be ‘can’t-miss’ because it’s going to talk about everything you love, in a way you can’t get anywhere else.”
This new show will take the WWE Universe behind the scenes to give them a fresh perspective on the ins and outs of the WWE, the Superstars and what their personal lives are like in a way that’s never been seen before.
This show should add just another layer to WWE’s impressive catalog of content that’s already featured on the WWE Network. While their own network has done well as a whole, the company has still done well with branching out and utilization resources from around the sports and entertainment world to help encapsulate everything that they do as a company.
With WrestleMania 35 just a few days away, this news likely isn’t even the biggest news set to come out of the weekend.
