As per the way the backstage promo went on Raw and as per a report today from Dave Meltzer, it appears WWE is going with a program between The Viking Raiders and current Raw Tag Team Champsions The Street Profits. And, according to the report, the two teams will face-off for the tag team championships at Money in the Bank on May 10.
Monday’s episode of Raw featured The Raiders defeating Cedric Alexander and Ricochet in what was an excellent tag team match. Following the Viking Raiders win, WWE produced a backstage segment with Bianca Belair and The Street Profits where Belair blasted the champs for joking around considering they’d never beaten the team of Erik and Ivar.
With the Money in the Bank pay-per-view now confirmed and a series of qualifying matches taking place on the upcoming Raw and SmackDown shows, WWE needs to round out the card, which may also include a program between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. The event will take place from the WWE Performance Center after WWE was given the green light to produce shows from that location.
It is believed the show will take place live on WWE Network.
