Jon Moxley continues to make news. In his New Japan debut, he flew thousands of miles to take on Juice Robinson and capture the IWGP United States Championship.
The wins comes in the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
And, it appears Moxley won the match with a new finisher called the Death Rider. The move is a modified Dirty Deeds, a high angle double arm DDT.
The match was described as a back-and-forth bout with both men getting in their share of offense. At one point, Robinson takes a crazy bump with a Somersault senton off the entrance stage.
And, at another point, Moxley put Robinson through a table.

Moxley Doing More In One Month Than…
Jon Moxley said it best when he described his mentality to many of the media members he sat down with over the past week to talk about the new chapter in his life. He’s done more in one month than he did in his entire WWE career.
That still might be up for debate but an AEW debut, a New Japan title and a number of hard-hitting interviews and matches in the style that he likes versus the style WWE likes, is not a bad start.
For the record, after his win, Moxley played a bit of a heel role with the people in Japan. Hard to know if this is a sign of things to come or not.
