A local ad in the Connecticut area — the location where Money in the Bank will take place next month — may have spoiled WWE’s announcement as to who might be involved in the men’s ladder match.
A graphic made the rounds on social media Friday that included superstars Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Aleister Black and Lars Sullivan as competitors in this year’s match. The women’s match was not leaked.
Alexa Bliss was set to announce all the participants for this year’s contest on Monday’s Raw but, if this ad is correct, that news will feel anticlimactic now as the seven men scheduled for the match is out there for the public to see.
While it might be hard to pick a winner from this field, the WWE Universe seems to be ok with the choices for the match, calling this one of the deepest ladder matches for the pay-per-view in a long time.
Who Might Win the Ladder Match?
The favorite, at this point, might be Lars Sullivan who has been on a tear since debuting the night after WrestleMania 35. He seems like an unstoppable force and while he might not be able to climb a ladder very quickly, he may not need to if he destroys everyone else in the ring first.
Money in the Bank will be shown live on WWE Network on May 19, 2019, and will take place from Hartford, Connecticut.
