Joey Ryan Deletes Twitter Account After Allegations Surface

In the wake of news that Joey Ryan is being accused of more than a dozen physical, emotional, and sexual abuse incidences, Joey Ryan posted a note on his social media account saying he was advised by his lawyers not to say anything and then deleted all of his accounts.

Ryan’s note about the #SpeakingOut Movement is below:

“As I am sure you are all aware, several years ago, and all in a short period of time, a lot of things changed in my life,” part of his statement reads. “The “d*ck flip” went viral. I started traveling the world and living a “rock ‘n roll lifestyle.” I came into contact with a lot of people, including women. And, the truth is, I did not always treat people with respect. And I will acknowledge that it was possible that I pursed people I thought were interested in me and invaded their personal space and made them feel uncomfortable in the process.

“I have worked hard to make wrestling a safe and welcoming place for everyone. I will make up for my shortcomings of the past by working harder in the future to continue to do that. With all of the different social movements happening right now, we need to take this opportunity to listen and learn and continue to strive every day to do better.”

The assumption is that he’ll be removed from every roster he was connected to and companies like Impact Wrestling will cut ties with him.

A new report from PWInsider states the wrestling promotion is unlikely to use Joey Ryan going forward. Impact Wrestling has not released an official statement on Ryan’s status but has said the following on the situation in general:

“It is a core value of the Anthem organization that we conduct our business with respect and integrity, providing a safe and secure work environment for our employees and performers.”

The Internet has been flooded with stories of the things Ryan has done, many accounts suggesting everyone should have seen this coming considering his gimmick for the longest time was that his d-ck was his most powerful weapon and could essentially win matches on its own.

Ryan is not getting a lot of support right now, including from former friends who claim he’s been lying to everyone these past many years.
