After rumors of a number of former WWE talents possibly showing up at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary show, the first of what might be many, former WWE Superstar Heath Miller, f.k.a. Heath Slater showed.
Slater appeared in street clothes, wearing a free agent shirt. Amid microphone issues, slater noted he was there for an open challenge. “They promised surprises,” Slater said. “Well surprise!”
Rohit Raju interrupted the promo and noted “the last time you were in a World title match, it didn’t last very long!” He was, of course, referring to Slater’s recent appearance on WWE Raw.
In a backstage segment later in the show, Slater ran into Rhyno and the former partners had quite the reunion. It was then that Impact’s Executive Scott D’Amore told Heath he’d have to leave the closed set due to the pandemic. Slater left but not before Rhyno told him to show up at Tuesday’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
