Crazy First-Ever Stipulation Added To SmackDown Championship Match?

WWE has been forced to make a number of signficant changes to the WrestleMania 36 card in recent days. Much of that stems from WWE Superstars pulling themselves off the card or being less-than healthy enough to compete. One rumored match that was supposedly affected was the Triple Threat SmackDown Tag Team match for the titles.

Apparently, The Miz arrived for tapings and wasn’t feeling well. As such, he was pulled from the match and WWE went with a singles triple-threat Ladder Match that will feature one member of each team. Obviously, with The Miz out, John Morrison will represent the current tag team champions. One other member from The Usos and New Day teams might be announced this Friday on SmackDown.

As per Cagesideseats (via Observer):

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the triple threat ladder match for the SmackDown tag team titles at WrestleMania 36 could end up playing out with just one member of each team wrestling.

Whichever member of the team wins the match, that will equate to a win for the team as a whole and new tag team champions will be crowned. And, it lends perfectly to the idea that the Usos might pull an old school switcheroo.

While there are some differences in their appearances, in a choatic situation, it might be hard to tell which member of the team is which and a fresh Uso can hop in and claim the win.

Of course, this is all just speculation as there has also been talk of WWE scrapping the match altogether.
