Don’t get Batista upset. He’ll let you know.
The former WWE Superstar who recently retired after his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 35 is a bit miffed at WWE right now. Apparently, Dave Bautista is not a fan of WWE and Fox’s new promotional video showcasing the move of the wrestling juggernaut in October.
The newly released FOX video came out on Friday. In it are a number of former WWE stars like The Rock, Steve Austin, some part-time performers like John Cena and The Undertaker and current stars like Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston. There’s a lot of people getting some love in that video in an attempt to promote fans migrate to Fox on October 4, 2019.
One name and face that wasn’t in the video was Batista.
Bautista was SmackDown regular during his main run in WWE. He was arguably a huge part of that show and helped set it as a contender to the flagship Raw program for years. So, when the video came out and The Animal wasn’t in it, he wasn’t shy about sharing his dissatisfaction.
He said simply, “C’mon guys really?!”
Give Batista What He Wants
There’s no changing the commercial now Batista, but perhaps WWE can make a comment thanking him for his contributions to the show. He might have made the cutting room floor in the final edit of the promo video but one would hope, at the very least, he was considered.
Say you’re sorry WWE. Give him what he wants.
