Best friend of the recently returned Edge, former WWE Superstar Christian recently sat down for an interview on Booker T’s Hall Of Fame radio show. He touched on a few subjects and answered a few questions, including whether or not he might consider a return to the WWE after watching his best friend make a comeback.
Saying he is happy with what he’s been able to do in his career, specifically WWE, Christian essentially ruled out a return. He said he’d done everything except main event the biggest show of the year.
“It’s one of those things, right? It’s a completely different injury. I’m pretty content with all that I’ve accomplished in WWE. I pretty much accomplished everything I ever wanted to do except main event WrestleMania, and let’s be honest, how many people actually get a chance to do that?
I’m 46 years old and I had some concussion issues. I don’t see it happening, I’m medically disqualified. I don’t see how it would ever get cleared.
His Role In WWE Means It Likely Won’t Change Things
For now, Christian will stay part of the WWE as a part-time host on WWE Backstage. As for the future? One never knows.
If he tries to get the same type of treatment someone like Daniel Bryan did, maybe a return is possible. After all, while speaking with Edge on his recent podcast, Corey Graves said he’d given thought to a comeback after watching Edge and his injuries were concussion related. Christian seems happy with what he’s doing and that often lends to the idea that he’s not going to go out of his way or do all the necessary things to make that comeback a reality. Not that we wouldn’t love to see Captain Charisma back.
