This weekend, WWE Superstar Carmella took to social media and commented on rumors that she had been infected by the coronavirus. She and Corey Graves were among two of the stars who were not at the tapings leading up to WrestleMania and did not take part in the card that included a five-way match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. No Dana Brooke would have seen Carmella be a logical replacement.
On Sunday, she cleared up a rumors when she responded to a now-deleted tweet, “I appreciate your concern, but don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Fortunately, I’ve been healthy through all of this.”
One of WWE’s employees did test positive for the virus, but it was not an on-screen performer. That person is already back to normal and both Carmella and her boyfriend Graves are back as part of the regular set of tapings and live shows with WWE.
Neither will likely be a part of tonight’s Monday Night Raw broadcast.
