If reports are true, it appears as though Brock Lesnar won’t be back in WWE for the foreseeable future and he is not scheduled for Raw tonight. Some are suggesting he’s not extended a contract with WWE, left WrestleMania not long after his match ended and there’s no sign of his return in the immediate future.
Lesnar’s match with Seth Rollins — one in which he lost the Universal Championship — was apparently changed last minute. Part of the reasoning behind the change might have been because Lesnar was leaving and what Paul Heyman said was true… if Lesnar wasn’t the main event, it was best to get it done and let him move on to Las Vegas and potentially UFC where rumors are he’s negotiating to battle with Daniel Cormier.
Lesnar is not advertised for any future WWE dates, including tonight’s RAW in Brooklyn, NY. There is some speculation he might re-sign a shorter-term deal, but also buzz that WWE is finally ready to move in another direction.
F4Wonline reported that Lesnar flew home almost immediately following his match.
If Lesnar does return, it might be for a one-time appearance at the next Saudi Arabia show. The payday is always good for those shows and Lesnar is a fan of a big payday.
