On Friday’s SmackDown, The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman got a big win over Shinsuke Nakamura to close the show, unfortunately, his night wasn’t over. Before show went off the air, Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen and addressed the new champion, congratulating him on his win.
Wyatt said he was happy for Braun but flashed images of their time together as part of the Wyatt Family. Wyatt said he forgives Braun for turning his back on his own creator, but his puppets (all except Ramblin’ Rabbit) said Wyatt shouldn’t be so quick to forgive and forget. Still all Wyatt wanted was an apology, something Braun refused.
Strowman said he wasn’t there to play Wyatt’s games so Wyatt said he wanted something Braun had.
Pointing to his newly won Universal Championship, Wyatt added, “Since I brought you into this world, I’m going to have to take you out,” Wyatt said. Strowman responded, “Before you go, I just want you to know… Anytime you want, I’m willing to let you in.”
Wyatt wasn’t impressed and the show ended.
Short Title Run For Strowman?
Considering Braun Strowman was a last-minute replacement for Roman Reigns and WWE likely regrets having Strowman lose to Goldberg, is this the company trying to right a wrong?
It would be nice to see Strowman get a run, but it doesn’t make much sense for Wyatt to lose another match so quickly after losing to Goldberg. Unforunately for Strowman, this is likely going to be a short title run.
