There were rumors one of the most talked-about new ideas in WWE was already dead in the water. Bray Wyatt introduced the new Firefly Fun House to audiences this past Monday and while some fans loved it and others hated it, everyone was talking about it. The video received over 2 million views and it seemed WWE might have hit on a viral land mine.
Unfortunately, there was also speculation WWE shareholders saw the video and took issue with the fact it appeared Wyatt was inviting children into a cult. If true, it was very un-PG of WWE to promote something so not-family friendly.
Wyatt must have caught wind of the speculation and addressed it on Twitter late Wednesday evening. Tweeting “I love stockholders! And I love all of you!”
While it’s a fairly generic tweet that can be taken in a variety of ways, it’s safe to assume the idea is not dead at all. If it were it seems Wyatt wouldn’t be addressing it so casually.
The alternative is that there really is an issue with shareholders that WWE is working on and Wyatt is taking the approach his new character would take and killing them with kindness.
The only way to know for certain is to see what WWE does next week.
