AJ Styles Suggests He Didn’t Lose to Undertaker
AJ Styles appeared on the most recent episode of WWE”s The Bump and claims his business with The Undertaker might not be over. During his interview, Styles talked about his Boneyard match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 36 and suggested he didn’t actually lose the match.
“Well, I can tell you this there wasn’t a referee. Did I lose? I don’t know. Maybe I got some dirt thrown on me, but that doesn’t mean I lost. Unfinished business? Absolutely. If I ever have the chance to get my hands on the Undertaker, no problem. Well, obviously there’s a problem, but I’m looking forward to it.”
Does this mean that the storyline line between the two competitors will continue? As we know, The Undertaker will premiere his docuseries Last Ride on Sunday, giving fans a glimpse into what comes next for the veteran who may or may not retire soon. Styles will be headed to Money in the Bank this Sunday to compete in the ladder match. Both seem to have a busy schedule but their paths could cross again.
If so, it is expected they would have an actual match with an official and not a cinematic-style bout like they did at the company’s biggest show of the year.
