5 Things to Expect on WWE Raw Tonight

Tonight marks the second Raw under Executive Director Paul Heyman. The first under his tenure was a smashing success that was critically acclaimed by many. Can he follow it up with another strong show?

So far, considering what has been advertised for tonight’s Raw, things look promising. Here’s a few things we can expect:

Tag Match to Open Show

Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch facing Andrade & Zelina Vega will open tonight’s RAW. The match is one of two advertised main events for the show, with the other being Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre facing Roman Reigns and a partner of Shane’s choosing.

The Club Will Threaten Takeover

Expect the Club to threaten taking over the Raw and perhaps even adding another member. The reuniting of AJ Styles with the Good Brothers closed Raw on Monday and while the Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley created a lot of buzz, the Club is the storyline of the week.

This could be the new faction WWE is pushing hard and they’ve already come up with a new catchphrase.

Update on Strowman

There are rumors Paul Heyman has big plans for Strowman when he returns and while he might not be on Raw tonight, if he is, expect him to make a surprise return and clean house.

The idea is that Strowman will destroy a lot of stuff when he comes back. But, WWE might wait to make him feel a bit more missed so that when he does return, the impact is heavier.

Rey Mysterio Returns

Rey Mysterio will be back on Raw tonight and he might have a message for Samoa Joe. Joe is in the middle of a battle with Kofi Kingston but Rey has some unfinished business with the Samoan Submission Machine.

There are also rumblings of Dominick being a bigger part of Rey’s storyline moving forward and he might be with him on the show.

Reigns’ Partner to be a Surprise

The announcement of who will join Roman Reigns to take on Shane and Drew McIntyre would seemingly be a Superstar that is on Shane’s side. The assumption being someone like Elias. But, what if some mysterious force was removing partners?

Who would be left to team with Roman? Probably not someone Shane would choose.

The Undertaker is apparently banned from the building and will be removed from Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view if he interferes tonight. So expect a few twists.

Another Surprise Call-Up?

Last week, the WWE Universe that wasn’t all that familiar with The Street Profits got to know them a bit better. Does Heyman have his eyes on other talent he wants to showcase?
