According to WWE.com, Triple H will appear on tomorrow night’s edition of NXT on USA Network, as first reported by Sports Illustrated. Speculation is that he’ll usher in a series of matches that were originally slated for NXT TakeOver: Tampa but will instead air on the next few of weeks of NXT shows.
According to SI’s report, those matches will start on the April 1 edition of the weekly USA Network spectacular. There was no mention of what will air on tomorrow’s broadcast.
Whatever matches NXT does broadcast, will likely be a surprise for most fans. The only match confirmed for the pay-per-view was the ladder match to decide a number one contender for the Women’s Title. The Adam Cole vs Velveteen Dream match was merely a speculated bout. Perhaps Triple H will announce the full card and the show will air promos and previews for each match.
With AEW airing another show opposite NXT, it’s probably best that NXT throw a couple of matches on the show as well, perhaps bringing in a couple of bigger names. They didn’t fare so well in the ratings last week.
