A recent report from Sports Illustrated suggests that Impact Wrestling and AEW are working on a deal that will see former WWE star and current Impact performer, Tenille Dashwood (Emma) show up on the AEW All Out pay-per-view this Saturday.
According to the popular wrestling resource, Dashwood would be a surprise entrant for the Casino Battle Royale match.
Only 11 of the 21 woment slotted to be in the match have been announced, therefore, it makes sense AEW might line up a few surprises. It also makes sense Impact might want their talent on the show as they’ve sent performers to other companies in cross-promotion efforts before, including Rob van Dam recently showing up on the Raw Reunion show.
The 11 known spots have gone to names like Awesome Kong, Brandi Rhodes, Allie, Yuka Sakazaki, Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Jazz, Ivelisse, Teal Piper, Big Swole, and Sadie Gibbs.
Dashwood Would Be a Nice Surprise
This is going to be a PPV full of surprises and some returns/debuts. Dashwood wouldn’t likely be a permanent fixture in AEW, but just showing up and taking part would lessen the blow if a talent like CM Punk didn’t make it.
If she does show, don’t expect her to win as the winner gets an eventual shot at the Women’s Championship.
